Pennings Vineyards was established in 2006. The addition
of wine grape plantings to Rain-Bell farms, located in Pine Bush, New York, is a
culmination of extreme fondness of wine, family heritage and a passion for
farming! We are proud to say we lead the new generation of Pennings farmers.
We invite our family & friends to taste the traditions of the Hudson Valley region.
Our vineyard is young, yet our region is historical when it comes to growing
grapes. Within a few years we will produce from our grapes, delectable and
distinct Hudson River region wines. The wines will be sold at various events and
on premises here in Pine Bush New York at
Christopher Jacobs Winery.
The first blocks of wine grapes planted were the Cayuga White and Seyval Blanc
grapes. We continue to plant a variety of other white and red wine grapes every
spring. The grapes planted reflect the Hudson River region wine identity.
As many wine enthusiasts discover this regions style of cool climate wines, the
demand for our product has increased dramatically. We are here to meet that
demand. If you share a passion for the wines of the Hudson River region, keep
